Abiding in Christ

As Jesus makes His way to the Garden of Gethsemane, He applies the lesson of the vine and the branches to show that He loves us just as the Father has loved Him. As we abide in Him and His Word abides in us, we will keep His commandments and abide in His love, just as He has kept the Father's commandments and abided in His love. And we are His friends if we do what He commands us.
