The Jewish and Roman Trials and Peter's Denials

After He was arrested in the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus was brought before the former high priest who asked Him about His disciples and His teachings. Jesus told him he had nothing to hide, and that anyone who had heard Him could testify of His teachings. Unable to find anything to charge Him with that would stand in a Roman court, Annas sent Him to the current high priest. Meanwhile, Peter is challenged by a servant girl and a relative of the man whose ear he had cut off while defending Jesus during his arrest. Both times he denied being a disciple of the Lord. The high priest sent Jesus to Pontius Pilate, the Governor, who asked Him about His Kingdom. Jesus explained that He was a King, but His Kingdom was not of this world.
