Prayer and Promise (6-29-25)

The psalmist recalls David’s longing for a place where God would dwell in the midst of His people. Although it was David’s son, Solomon, who built the Temple, God honored David’s faithfulness and, in this psalm, the psalmist repeats the promise that God would place a son of David on the throne over Israel and that His Presence would remain with His chosen people.
