The Problem of Recurring Sin

When Abraham travels to Gerar, he tells the king that Sarah is his sister, so the king takes her into his own household. God afflicts the king, explains to him that Sarah is actually Abraham's wife, and tells him what he must do. The king confronts Abraham who excuses his sin and sends Abraham away with gifts that demonstrate his innocence. Abraham prays for the king, and he and his family are restored to health. Believers today find the cure for recurring sin in an abiding relationship with Christ.
