On I-65, Go
South
In Montgomery, get on I-85, go East, toward
Atlanta
After about one half hour, take the Tallassee
exit (exit number 26), turn left at top of exit ramp and go north on
Highway 229
After eight miles you will be in
Tallassee.
At the first traffic light (Shell to your left,
First Methodist Church to your right) turn LEFT onto Friendship Road
(which is County Road 8).
Go 1.2 miles, down the hill and past the funeral home. Go up the hill
and past Community Hospital on your left and Tallassee Elementary School on your
right. At the top of the hill, look for the church on your left.

Go south down
I-65
Get off at Exit Number 205 (the third Clanton
exit also known as the "Peach park" exit)
At the top of the ramp, turn left onto U.S.
Highway 31
Go south down highway 31 until you get to state
highway 143 - turn left and head toward Marbury (there is a brown
sign for the Confederate Memorial Park; there is no right
turn)
Go down state highway 143 until you get to state
highway 111 - Turn left and head toward Wetumpka
(There is a little white church way off on the
left before you get to it and an old country store
to your right at the intersection)
Follow highway 111 until you intersect with
state highway 14 - turn left (There is a gas station to your left as
you come to the light)
Follow highway 14 to Tallassee.
In Tallassee you will pass the football stadium
on your left, then McDonalds - then you will come to a light with
First Methodist Church in sight. Turn RIGHT onto Friendship Road
(which is County Road 8).
Go 1.2 miles, down the hill and past the funeral home. Go up the hill
and past Community Hospital on your left and Tallassee Elementary School on your
right. At the top of the hill, look for the church on your left. |
