Children’s Ministry: Grades 1-6

We seek to have a balanced program of recreation and biblical instruction.  Content includes: Character qualities Basic Christian beliefs Bible basics (The difference between Old Testament and New Testament, epistles and gospels, etc.) Bible stories and the principles they teach The gospel of Jesus Christ.  While we never use emotional appeals or peer pressure, we do explain the message, so they can accept Christ as they become ready.  Children’s Church isn’t a fund alternative to “big church.” Instead, it is designed to train children to worship and prepare them for “big church.”
First Baptist exists to experience, celebrate, and share God’s grace. We affirm six main functions as the means of so doing: Christ-centered worship, Biblical instruction, prayer, world evangelization, nurturing fellowship, and caring acts.
